Wife, on the computer: "I can't stand this new laptop you got. You have to teach me how to use it. Something was on the screen and I can't see it anymore!"

Me: "Just click on the windows button, it's on the bottom of the keyboard, and it will come up again" (it's Win 8 with their pretty dumb interface)

Wife: "I can't! Do you know how tired I am! I didn't sleep for so many nights! You will have to show me another time."

Me scratching my head and laughing quietly.

x1000 other issues, easier to get frustrated and get someone else to do it than work it out for themselves... you have nothing better to do right? Their frustrations are of prime importance. Its not their fault/problem, you fix it. Everyone is making their life difficult.

Tomorrow you show her and that just validates her assumption, sets the pattern.
