Ds is still in jail in CO and has three months to go before he will be transferred back to NY for 12-18 month court mandated rehab.

DH and I had a long talk and though money is soo tight we said wth... .  you can't take it with you!

So we are taking a vacation before ds arrives!

We're so excited.  Every other time we have tried to sneak a few days away we always got that emergency phone call.

This time we know he is safe, we won't have to cancel our plans or rush home to some chaos!

Ah... .  the little pleasures in life!

good for you... .  I know what you mean... .  I am alway trying to plan to get away but I alway have to plan around my dd... .  get while the getting is good... .  have fun... .  enjoy yourself!

Good for you hope you have a peacful time we just canc our trip in april on a cruise with other friends.Had to cancel due to my daughters up and down moods and for our grandaughter sake.  Sad about cancelling trip but better safe than sorry
