Hi folks, have not been on here for a little while but am pleased to say this site has done me good.  Have managed to detach from my x BPD without closing the door on her if she ever gets back in touch and puts a stop to her denial.

What helped for me recently was joining lots of support groups online (not just this one several others as well).  Have made lots of online friends including all sorts that have got my mind off my own problems.  Have now even branched out to joining match.com and posibbly meeting a new potential partner.

Have found it good to get concerned about others not just her.  Also good to get on with my life without flatly closing the door on her.

Take care folks!

I am happy to hear that you could moving on in a healthy direction. Sounds like sort of loose, low contact.

Yea it's been no contact for a long time and all I did for a while was worry about her which wasn't really healthy.  Now I'm worried about other people who I can have a healthier time with.  She's not the only person in the world that needs help and have found it beneficial to offer my help elsewhere.
