When She Wears My Mom's Clothes.

My mother is bed bound with MS. So being that her and "C" are the same size, and that my mom has a lot of "good" clothes she keeps giving C stuff. (Mom likes C )

Well when C is wearing my mom's stuff it makes me feel oddly close to her, not in a sexual way (Thank God). It's more in a comfortable secure way. Kinda like the way I used to feel when my grandmother had the whole family over for dinner every Sunday and I was surrounded by aunts, uncles and cousins.

I must have some kinda issues lmao

Oh and to make matters worse, C and I are both sorta kinda Ex-Amish

I know firsthand that we get traumatized by our BPD mates, and that our poor brains seek what comfort we can.

So your reaction to the clothes is one of the comfort of familiarity, don't beat yourself up about it.

But you posted here about it because it DOES bother you.

So you gotta make a decision - does it bother you enough that you need to make it a Boundary?

Also, and this is just my curiosity, what do you mean by "sorta kinda ex-Amish?"

Do you mean Ex from a similar society like Mennonite, or that you've only kinda Ex because you haven't officially left but are not living life very Amishly anymore?
