Question about setting boundaries

Because I've never been in a relationship like this before I'm having trouble knowing what boundaries to set and how to enforce them.

I've tried using all "I" statements and addressing the behavior and not my bf as in: "I feel hurt when you're so critical of me".

Unfortunately all that happens is he tells me "you're taking things personally and getting emotional".

I mean, yesterday he berated my choice of Ferraris IF I could afford one. He carried on for 5 full minutes about why my choice was inferior, wrong, etc. and when I was quiet he told me that I "was clearly taking it personally" so he was done talking about it.

I'm starting to feel like I'm losing it but I don't know how to set boundaries he clearly negates.
