I am just about there in making the decision to seek a divorce.  I have put up with all the "in-house" behaviors for many years.  However, in the last few months, the area of drama has expanded to include a false abuse report to the police, and a false report to my church causing me to lose my position as a CCD (Sunday school teacher).

I have appreciated all the posts in staying and undecided forums, it has helped keep me sane since the light bulb when on about BPD.

With seven kids at home, this should be interesting.

Hey Perez, Sorry to hear all the stress you are under with seven kids in the house.  It's a tough decision, no doubt, and only you know what is right.  Yet I think you are heading in the direction of greater happiness by giving serious consideration to leaving.  To me, it's a no-brainer after she filed false reports with the Police and Church.  Based on my experience, the drama only intensifies as time goes on.  Suggest you do what you know in your gut is the right thing to do.

Hi Perez,

Welcome

I'm sorry to hear that. I can relate with false abuse charges, that's tough. I understand how frustrating, confusing and emotionally exhausting it can be when a partner suffers from BPD.

Is she willing to get help for herself? Have you gone to marriage counseling and to a T for yourself? Have you tried the communication skills and tools on staying?
