What is your sexual orientation: Straight

I have recently come across a thread which was started by someone to share an old post him her found (not too long ago, maybe December?)

The quote was a long quote, almost positive this quote was from the user "charred", in which he explained in-depth the mechanics behind the relationships and why we are so attracted to our disordered partners.

If someone could point me top the right thread I would be incredibly grateful!

Hi thatwasthat,

Click on the "Members" tab above, then click the "Search for Members" tab, then type in "charred" click on Search. Once charred comes up click on his name that will take you to his summary page, once there (at the bottom of his profile) there is a link "Show last posts of the person" click on that and you can search his posts for the one you are looking for.

Hi thatwasthat,

I tried a search for charred, and found some references to attachment theory, which a number of members have found useful in explaining their attraction to the pwBPD, but nothing I'd consider a "long" post.

There was also this, which I thought was pretty interesting, a member quoting another member (no link though) about reasons why they believe they stayed with their partner.

And whether we find this post or not, would you like to tell us why you think you were attracted to/stayed in a relationship with someone with BPD, and we can ask you some questions and share our experience to help deepen your understanding?  Smiling (click to insert in post)

Hey thatwasthat,

When I read your request, I immediately thought of the following post hyperlinked below.  I appreciated it so much that I sent the link to myself for safekeeping.  Fingers crossed this is the one you were looking for!
