Hello!

I am searching for a RTC for my BPDs25 (also has and eating disorder) and we are Canadian. I am very glad to have found this community, I have a ton of questions.

- Is there anyone out there who has had successful treatment at a RTC in Canada?

- Is anyone familiar with any programs that treat both BPD and EDs?

- Is anyone familiar with any RTCs that are accessible to international clients?

Thanks very much!

Hello laffytaffy,

Another member from Canada... .many years ago recommended parents look into Pine River Institute.  You might contact the Ontario Ministry of Health about funding.  As far as I know most all of the private treatment centers here in the US accept international clients though insurance funding may be problematic (it usually is even for US citizens).

Have you looked into Out of Province Funding from OHIP?
