Hi memphismom,
I know it must seem like a very very silver lining, but what good news that your D16 is willing to go inpatient, and that doctors recognized BPD behaviors in her teen years. I know that can seem like small potatoes when a child is struggling in so many other ways, but sometimes these tiny little bright spots go a long ways.
I'm not familiar with RTCs, though there is a member who was on the site for many years, and she journaled her family's experience with Falconbridge, an equine therapy RTC:

In his book Adolescence and BPD, I believe there are RTCs listed in the back, and I would suspect they selected those programs for reasons they could share?
