My wife had yet another incident today out of the blue. I happened to be doing laundry in the basement when she was taking a shower. She came down erupting at me and screaming that I’m an idiot and a looser and I never listen to her. I didn’t even know what this was about. She said the water got cold while she showered and I apologized. She screamed and yelled for 15 mins about how worthless I am and how she wants me to move out immediately. Earlier in the morning and for the last several weeks things have been fantastic and we just had a great relaxing vacation. I’m always afraid that even the smallest misstep will set her over the deep end. I don’t know what to do or who to talk to. She refuses to see any form of therapist. I have been going to one myself just to make sure I’m not the one going crazy here.

Welcome Skiing,
I"m sorry that you went through this situation. I get what its like to always be worried about your next move causing your pwBPD to get upset. Just curious, what did you apologize for? Did you really do something wrong? Or did she just think you did something wrong?
