I hate my spam-mails. They drive me nuts. I don’t know why but I always get mails where either the first name of the sender (it’s always a forename and a surename) is my exBPDgf‘s first name or the surname of the sender is her exact surname.

I don’t really think it’s her sending weird spam mails. She’s not that into pc-stuff and couldn’t even do it and I doubt there’s a possibility to do that. I just think this is the universe telling me something. Maybe it’s trying to push me harder to detach. I don’t know. :D Ugh. It p*sses me off. It’s so nonsensically stupid but still. Everytime I see especially her surname I get angry. What a stupid trigger. And it isn’t even her. I don't feel anxiety anymore towards this whole thing, I just want to escape that woman and even though she doesn’t do anything at all I’m still in some way confronted with her/have to think about her.

Sorry, I needed to rant a little. This is getting on my nerves every time I check my mails. I just needed to get this out.

Hi misty_red,

I don't think it's stupid. I can relate.

E-mail indicators on my phone would trigger anxiety and panic thinking it may be an e-mail from my ex partner.

Detachment takes time.

I purchased an anti-spam app and I'd block her messages to lessen the triggers to cope a little easier until I was further detached. I think whatever strategy helps you.

An option is to create an email filter to block surname and last name.

This exact same thing has been happening to me every single day ! I don't know how but it didn't happen before the breakup. Emails that have her first name as the title. How?
