We have been dealing for 5 years with a BDP daughter, without knowing it. We were just informed a few months ago of the condition.
After that, I have purchased and I am half way though the book "Stop walking on Eggshells", I understand so much more now! I found this forum also through the book, and I am looking forward to use the support and offer it to my daughter as well.
Thanks to all the brave people that shares stories, as patients or patient family and friends. This should make the road a lot easier...

Welcome Carfanet. I can understand that feeling when you finally get a diagnosis and can 'join the dots' with an explanation for all that you are dealing with. It is such a roller coaster ride.

Coming here was a great help for me too. I found that my friends didn't understand the complexity of what was going on - but here everyone understands.

I hope you can get the support you need and can now find a way forward.
