Pretty good weekend, but still a long ways to go

Well we had a pretty good weekend. He actually invited me over while his daughter was there. This tells me he must be serious about me again, although, I still am not convinced all is done between him and his ex. Text messages still come in on his phone very early in the morning and it seemed like he pushed me out this morning earlier than normal. I asked him if he was leaving for work early this morning and he said no. My guess is he contacted her. She is living many miles away in Florida, however, her home is still here for sale just 2 doors down from him. She will be returning sometime soon to sell some belongings left in her home. I have already told him if she stays with him while she is here I am done and I mean it, so we will see what happens.

It's always painful when there is someone else lurking around the edge of the relationship.  But, I'm glad to hear the weekend overall was pretty good.
