Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Hannukah to all of you. No doubt, like myself, you are having a sad moment with the holidays. You might be overwhelmed even. But take heart! Your freedom is upon you!
Work through the pain and grief. You WILL be ok. Ignore those texts and emails from the pwBPD. I've already gotten one of each already today, in fact. Asking to be friends after I'm done being angry. NC or VLC.
The people on this board are awesome. We got your back no matter where you are.
Make it a celebrate your freedom holiday.
Best wishes

RedKong,
You are so welcome! It's rough. Kinda down this afternoon, but not really a surprise there. Taking care of myself with my family.

Thanks!
she just went to her parent's house with the kids, we did spend all day together with them... on their way out, she said. " are you going to be all right?" I just threw up my hands and walked into the house. going to see Catching Fire, then go for a night drive in the hills in the turbo, then come home to put my kids to sleep. the weekend will be with my kids and the people who actually love me and I can count on... . best wishes to you all.

Thanks for the pep talk. I'm 3 months out of a BPD relationship and I challenged myself not to show any weakness today. I knew she'd get pleasure from me being emotional today, but I held firm and I feel good about it. Christmas is next!

Santa,
Yeah, the holidays can be brutal. Knowing ahead, though, you can plan and make sure you surround yourself with friends and family who are supportive. Don't be afraid to use us here as well.
Congrats on your three months thus far and holding firm. That's amazing progress!
