Happy Mother's Day

Hi
I'm not sure if this is allowed so, if not, then please remove.
It's Mother's Day here in the UK. A very sweet and sometimes sour day for us. A day of mixed emotions, particularly if your BPD is not in contact or cannot respond to this special day. Historically, this would be the one day of the year that servants would be allowed to visit home to spend time with their mothers and families. Only once per year!
Last year I spent the afternoon sobbing in my car. I was feeling dreadfully sad for myself. I was parked on a common and watched young families visit a voluntary kite display. Huge colourful kites bobbing up and down in the wind high up and they could be seen for miles. Young children got out the cars eagerly and ran with gorgeous gay abandon towards them looking skyward. The adults always stood back, a mish mash of visitors. Families come in all sizes and all forms but all bound in love.
A year on. One diagnosis and my family is together. I am blessed, despite the challenges...
If you're a mother, father, grandparent or sibling and you are on your own today and feeling low then please post.
I've found great support on the site and, as I've said, families are in all forms.
I'd like to thank the administrators as they mother and challenge us.
Also to all posters and readers as you share your stories and lives.
We connect from all over the world and it is truly amazing.
A HAPPY BPD MOTHERS DAY!
