Hey all,
New to this board... .well the BPD world in general, I suppose. My 14 yr old daughter was diagnosed about a year ago and that was the first I'd heard of the diagnosis at all. It's been quite the roller coaster this year dealing with her emotions, our emotions, and the collateral damage that is caused when she deals with her emotions poorly.
I'm sure this is not unique to us in this regard, and looking forward to having an outlet to share those thoughts and emotions with others that have similar experiences.

Hi ChevyGuy and welcome to the board. I am glad you are reaching out for support. We have many parents who are in similar situations with their kids and we all work together to support each other and to try to brainstorm.
what sort of behaviors does your daughter engage in? Is she in treatment? Other than here, do you have your own support network?
As you get comfortable here, I hope you share more about your daughter and your own struggles in coping with BPD behaviors. Please read, feel free to jump in and post in other threads and just make yourself at home. I think you will find this place very welcoming.
