Hello. I am Pettech99. I am currently in a relationship with someone who has BPD. I love him very much. We seem to argue a lot over my family however because of the grudge they hold over him. Has anyone had similar situations?

To answer your question, yes. Absolutely. If you look around the site some you'll see that families can be a BIG source of conflict in relationships with pwBPD. I know it has been in mine. We're having a flare-up over it right now and it's a very tricky situation to navigate.

If you feel comfortable sharing a little more, what's the source of the grudge? Could you give a little back story?
