Hey,
This is my first time on here, and it's great to finally find a community to speak too. I struggle with anxiety and my boyfriend has BPD, I usually cope with it by detaching when it gets too much... But I do need to cry/let go... Problem is he hates it but it's the way I cope... How can I detach in a loving/caring way, I want to be a able to remove myself emotionally but still be warm towards him. Anyone have any tips?

What sort of behaviors are you dealing with here?  If you can give us an example or two with details of what happens, we can help you strategize.

We have a lot of tips and tools that work for some situations.  It is hard to recommend anything without knowing more.

In the meantime, I hope you settle in and read other threads and jump in and respond as we all help each other here and learn by doing so.  We ahve a lot of article too that are tacked to the top of this board.

Hope to hear more from you soon.
