Get practical advice or information

Hello I have a lovely family and wonderful kids, beautiful as can be. Few years ago my life was just perfect.
Things are not the same anymore. I have been trying very hard to understand what's happening in my life for months now. I ran into this book "Stop Walking on Eggshells". The symptoms and experiences expressed in the book resembles my life experience. I am so thankful for reading this wonderful book. Knowing what's happening to you is like identifying , diagnosing a disease.
I don't have any one to talk to reach out to, I have lost it all. I don't know if I should reach out to anyone, discuss my issues and make a fool of myself. Cause it's very strange. Just need someone to talk out loud about what I am going through I guess.
Appreciate any advice on where to start. I want to keep my lovely family as lovely as it used to be, at least try to.
Thank you,
Su

We’ve read the same book and similar others. After a 2 year struggle with our adult daughter, we realize nothing can ever get back to “normal” again. We are faced with not seeing our grandchildren who live 6 minutes away. Crushing. We have finally gone to “no contact” because the relationship was so toxic. My husband is 83 and we just can’t take anymore. I wish you well❤️

@BlueJay12 thank you for your support. Yes I get it, it must really hard to stay so close and yet not be with them.
My husband has abandoned his family too. Feels to bad to cut family ties, and can't help but just take the pain. Take care
