Guess what?  My xBPDh sent me a really nasty letter yesterday regarding splitting up assets in our divorce.  The letter painted me black, gave either/or scenarios, was meant to intimidate and push buttons, etc. - and it didn't work.  I expected the letter to have this tone and go nowhere, and it did.  I mean it didn't even sting a little bit!  Wow!  A month ago it would have made me cry, now - nothing at all.  It was as if my guilt buttons had simply disappeared. Thank you all so much!  If it hadn't been for this site, I would have fallen for it.

What do you think has changed in you to make this difference?

Good for you!

I'm in the middle like you! The nastiness is not effecting us and that shows that we are not in the grip of their control.  100 smiles, hugs and high -fives!

Want to Know, I think it was time, perspective, knowing what was symptomatic of the disorder and some weeks of NC.  Learning the symptoms and gaining perspective were due to this board.

Same here, my friend!  You may have moments where this is challenged.  Stay in this wise mind, and you will be fine.  Smiling (click to insert in post)
