Tonight I have started looking for a houseshare for when I move out of the flat.

First step.

Going to sell/throw out/donate all our things.

And hope for a fresh start.

This is a good thing.  I think.  It will be so sad when I leave though... .  leaving my memories of my sweet girl behind.

Fresh start could be really good.

The title of your thread made me  .  I was imaging the movie What About Bob when he gets in the elevator and has his fish in a jar around his neck for his journey.

You can do this  Take what you need to take - even if it's a fish and leave the other toxic stuff behind.
