Three months NC

Its been three months since my exbf and I broke up. We have had no contact. I originally left the door open if he needed anything. He did not care to walk through it.
I am grateful now that he didnt.
I am starting to heal. I think about him everyday, but I dont feel the panic or intense pain that I use to.
I have made sure that I havent stuffed my feelings in a box and have struggled to accept every emotion as it passes through me.
My pain and I are old friends now. It only hurts every now and then. When it hurts, I cry... . its ok.
I have started to deal with my issues. The ones my ex distracted me from dealing with.
While I am still not ready for a relationship, its not because of my ex, its because of me and my issues.
I have started to make new contacts and form friendly relationships with men and woman.
I have started to do things for me, and put plans in place for my future... . alone but stable.
I have a few friends, but they are awesome friends that I could not have made it through this without them.
It does get better.

Hey Laelle!
You've come a long way in a short time girlfriend! Just think of where you were vs where you are now, and even better, where you're going! It sure does get better!
Continue with your healing journey, stay strong, and reach out for help when you need it!
Best Wishes,
