Before you can make things better, you have to stop making them worse... Have you considered that being critical, judgmental, or invalidating toward the other parent, no matter what she or he just did will only make matters worse? Someone has to be do something. This means finding the motivation to stop making things worse, learning how to interrupt your own negative responses, body language, facial expressions, voice tone, and learning how to inhibit your urges to do things that you later realize are contributing to the tensions.

I am about to enter into a new agreement with increased time for BPD/Nxh with kids, DD8 and DS6.

It will include overnights eventually and the schedule will evolve over about 2 years until we are at the max.

What online shared calendars have you used?

What would you recommend?

What features do you use?

Is it worth is?

Thanks,

Kormilda

We did Our Family Wizard which was $100 per year.  BPD would never participate.  I really thought the online calendar feature was cool, but you only get out what you put in.

Now we use gmail and BPDex just never tells us anything.  But having us both on gmail, a shared cal there would be easy to add to and would be free!

Thanks HK. I hadn't thought of BPD/Nxh refusing to use it, very good reason to keep it free!

I have looked at www.2houses.com which is now free. I guess it can't hurt to use free and see what it is like and if he responds well to it.

We use GMAIL now, but I am always worried about it being too personal. Other apps keep it about the kids which I like and you can share pictures, school reports, care details like dr info etc and shared expenses. You can request money and change for visits and it tracks the sending, delivery, and response, or lack of.

Actually, he probably won't use it. Told me he can't drop the kids at my house because I have a video security system.   People who have nothing to hide hide nothing... .
