Question about legitimation

Hey all its been a while since I posted, I filed to legitimate my daughter last week and my uNPD/BPD ex went crazy on me saying this was going to mess her up. she has 2 other kids by different dads and she gets child support from them both and both her kids are on medicaid , she gets food stamps as well. she says that if I legitimate my daughter she will lose her food stamps and Medicaid for her kids, she says that because legitimation will be put on file and my child support to her will put her over the edge on what she can make to qualify for food stamps and her kids Medicaid. shes trying to get me to stop the legitimation process, Im not going to and I don't think I could even if I wanted to.    thanks for any input

Do what you feel is right... . which is what you're already doing.  She wants to stay a user and get paid for having children.  And now that you're about to upset her support system, of course she's upset.

Hmm, I have an idea.  Why not suggest to her that you can raise your daughter or at least have majority time and then she won't be getting child support from you that would raise her income over the edge.   Yeah, that solution would probably go over like a lead balloon.

I think part of her anger is that you are not doing what the other 2 dads have done.  With you as the legitimate father it changes the game for her where all the rules were in her favor.
