Mt exwife sucked the life right out of people

Well, ... .I have found that "emotionally challenged" persons really do suck the energy right out of people. My ex wife (undiagnosed but for sure a BPD) has no friends. No body wants to even talk with her. And t his bothers me WAY more than it bothers her This makes me saddened. At times she can be so nice only to do a 180 degree and chase a person away. I have come to the conclusion that a severely afflicted BPD person simply has no innate ability to have the sense of humiliation or embarrassment. This makes them not want to change, but to go on acting weird. This has been an observation from seeing only one really bad case of BPD.

GreenMango,
I think anybody, anybody with any kind of heart, would be sad to watch any human being live that way!
Why it's sad shouldn't need an explanation!

Moonie... .its only a question... .its okay to be saddened.
Sometimes asking ourselves why helps to uncover more of what is going on - like layers on an onion.

Well I think watching any human suffer is sad. The reason I think it's sad? Is because watching someone suffer is not pleasant for me. In fact it's the opposite of pleasant, that's where my finding it sad comes from. It comes from knowing I've got a heart & compassion.

Excerpt
And t his bothers me WAY more than it bothers her
I don't think this is uncommon. I think it deserves some thought.

Maybe it I perceive that it saddens me way more than it saddens my wife. She used to have quite a circle of friends and she was so sociable. She has become so reclusive now. This is what saddens me. What "could have been" or "what could have kept going as is (happiness/contentment)" until the alcohol wrecked everything. I am the exact same person I was before, ... .but certainly more sensitive to things now.

What it really comes down to is that a BPD person who is soo stubborn, ... .they will never be happy if they can't even admit they have a problem.
