Are you glad to be in this board?

I'm so thankful to be in this board, sometimes when I see the undeciding board I get very sad. I see myself in previous years and how I took my marriage seriously. I'm glad to be able to work everything out and when I see other posts here, is such a nice relief. What a complex disorder to understand!

I hear that pearl. Awareness is really all I can claim. I won't ever understand it. At least I'm aware. I might be able to do something about myself.

Excellent point! I have been doing way to much reminiscing and missing lately. I should probably visit the undecided board to get my head back on straight. It has been long enough that I am forgetting the horrible things she put me through. I burned the list of bad stuff along with all my thoughts about her a while ago. I should have kept the bad list for future use. I'll just go visit the undecided board.

Overall, yes, but at times it is bittersweet.
For all the things my BPDex put me through, leaving her and detaching was a lot more painful. It was a matter if a less intense but constant pain VS a super intense but finite pain in the way of being with her VS breaking up with her.
It hurt like hell to leave her and try and detach emotionally (be on the leaving board). But I am doing much better now 7 months later... .if I had sent all this time on the staying board or the undecided board, I would still be hurting at this point.
So I am glad that I am here.

After 3rd splitup - Undecided board
After 4th splitup - Leaving board
After 5th splitup - Staying board
After 6th splitup - Leaving board again
Now I jump back and forth between the Leaving board and Building Healthy Relationship & Dating board. I'm staying here with you guys from now on.

Best thing I've done for myself, in a long time, is to spend time on this board. I am in my comfort zone and everything I read helps me to stay focused on my goal... .health, healing and happiness.

I've been here a long time. I stayed in the Undecided board for the longest, even though my mind was already in Leaving. Once I moved to Leaving things progressed rapidly.
Now I am over a year out of the marriage, I still like coming back now and then to see how everybody is doing and also to see if I can help somebody in any way.

This board is an anchor in a sea of chaos. Bittersweet? Yes... .sometimes.
That is the reality of BPD.
