My xuBPD left me a phone message which I just heard today, been away, on sunday
He said, I hope you have a better year this year than last.
This is my last call. Take Care, bye.
Why ? Any thoughts anyone, it has made me feel very unsafe.

It's because he's making the New Year his personal deadline for getting over you. It's just an attempt to manipulate you. I'm sure he'll crack in a few days and try to contact you again. It's no big deal.

Not sure why you feel unsafe, it didn't sound threatening to me.
Anyway, I'm assuming he means he hopes you have a better 2014 than 2013. The best thing you can do is make sure 2014 is a great year, a year of healing, growth, fun, surrounded by supportive people, and if he's anything like my ex, a year without him in it. Feel free to go ahead and have a year like that.
It probably won't be his last call, but take him at his word for now and hope it is. Take care of you!

if your ex is anything like mine don't think that's a good bye or that hes done, hes fishing and will keep fishing till he finds the bait that makes you bite.
if your done block him in everyway you can.
