New Person

[Pretty Woman]

So I am sort of seeing a new woman. It is someone who I met after the last time my ex dumped me. We definitely had a connection but the break up was too fresh and I was not over my ex.

Fast forward six months and one nasty breakup where my ex has replaced me and cut me off from all contact and this woman and I have decided to have fun and be casual with each other.

I have never been one to do this but I will say it is amazing to spend time with someone I trust and we really respect each other. I enjoy spending time with her and yes, while the ex still comes to mind I am beginning to see I can be with someone else and I am feeling attractive and dare I say, happy again.

As I mentioned in another post, I don't say run out and just hook up with someone for the heck of it, but for me I will say I am getting to know this woman, work on my therapy and just do the casual (non relationship) thing for awhile.

Anyway, just wanted to say kudos to you. I'm excited and happy for you.

This from a woman who said she would never love again, who is now casually not one, but two nice men. With way better jobs and resources than my xhwBPD.

Sigh. I should have done this before. Actually tried to date instead of waiting for someone to come to me. I had no idea how men actually like being approached by a woman.
