She's Mad At Me Again :)

I'm smiling because I know it isn't my fault.  She got upset with me tonight because I have a date tomorrow.  It must have never crossed her mind that I'd move on with my life. 

In December I got a wake up call, she texted me saying she needed space and asked for a break.  We'd only been dating for three years so of course it wasn't a big deal and a text was completely appropriate... .   LOL  Not quite. 

After a month of NC I reached out in January, requesting she talk to me one last time to discuss what happened and try to move on.  After talking the first time we decided to talk again a week later.  Then she asked to talk on Wednesdays and Sundays.  We started talking more frequently and eventually she asked me if I was dating.  I was honest and said I had been out with some different people at different times.  Eventually this ended in a strained conversation last night that she feels I've been rubbing her nose in my new found freedom and saying bye in a rather sudden and weird text.  She said I f'd her around.  At no time did I ever tell her I wanted to get back together.  She never must have read my email, because it wasn't a take me back letter, it was a plea for closure. 

Now she has blocked me on her iPhone and I'm sure I won't hear from her for a while,  though I really hope I do.  So what can anyone say here?  She wanted space, an indefinite break, then she didn't want to lead me on, now she's mad I've moved on... .   What is going on in her head?

sounds to me that you are a bit in a push-pull dynamic instead of a clean break.

I hope you don't mind me asking a bit direct: Are you really done with her and ready for dating? Or is it more about testing her?

I am not testing her, I cringed telling her I was dating.  She asked and I always told her I'd be honest with her.  I really have to confess that I don't really enjoy dating after having the love of someone who was almost obsessive over me and our sex life.  But it helps me cope and dating is fun, I'm having fun.
