A quick recap and or summary. I been lving with my BPDex for going on 4 years. I told him I wanted to move back to my family in January. I know I didnt follow through. However I was waiting for a transfer which I just received a letter yesterday that I got it.  I will be miving 2 and half hours away in approximately the begining of August. The big question is when do I tell him. Im afraid if I tell him now there be a fight evey day  and we work together in the same place now.  We already have arguments but not everday  and he starts every one.He is a low functioning BPD. When I go he wont have someone to do everything for him. So I dont know wht can happene but im trying to be strong cuz he knows when I am weak and takes advantage. I did not place a restraining order or anythi. He never hit me or kids. Please help.

Interesting situation, with the transfer approved.

What are the transfer/relocation arrangements/benefits?  Are you having your move compensated?  Will you have temporary lodging, etc.?

What are the current arrangements of the lease or ownership/mortage at your current residence?

All this could make a difference in how or when you talk with him?
