Wow!  NC really does help!  I really couldn't imagine ever feeling normal again.  But today I've been in a great mood and was able to have a good laugh.  My dBPDexbf found out somehow that his ex had contacted me and we had blown his lies wide open and he sent her an email asking her to please leave his "girlfriend alone while we are going through a rough patch".   Laugh out loud (click to insert in post)  A "rough patch"?  Really?  Yeah, I guess you could call it the roughest patch ever since we are broken up, don't speak, and he doesn't even live in the same state anymore.  Today for the first time in a month I thoroughly cleaned my house, had a lovely evening out with my son, was totally productive, enjoyed making plans for the weekend, relaxed with my DVR and was able to imagine fun things in my future.  It gets better, I promise.  I didn't think I would ever stop wishing for things to go back to the way they were, but I sincerely feel excited for a new beginning right now.  Life is wide open and I truly don't care what he is doing right now.  Wait... .don't tell me... .this probably means he will break NC now that I'm feeling good, right?   Laugh out loud (click to insert in post)  Doesn't matter.  I am strong enough to ignore it.  I just wanted to share some positivity in case it helps anyone.  Hugs to all who are hurting.  I know how it feels and am so happy for some relief.  I've been dying for this day.
