Hello, FloK &
I'm really sorry that you are having troubles figuring out what to do next for your daughter, and that the Educational Consultant seems to be ineffective for you. Has the Wilderness RTC offered any insights to you? What about your daughter's Dr.? Does she have a Psychiatrist, Therapist, OutPatient Therapist that could help you? What about your County's Mental Health Care Services Department?
The
National Alliance on Mental Illness has a search bar where you can enter your location that could give you resources convenient to you, and all sorts of other information. Not knowing your daughter's specific needs, symptoms and behaviors, I do want to mention that if she has BPD (or a different disorder) and another, co-morbid problem (alcoholism, drug addiction, suicidal ideations, self-harm, etc.), a Dual Diagnosis Program would be something you might want to look into. It was the only Program that diagnosed my own adult (37) son's BPD and treated it correctly, and set him on the path of recovery; almost 18 months later he is still clean and sober (from a Heroin addiction) and doing really well.
Let us know more of your daughter's situation so we can guide you better, FloK
