How long does it take to feel detached... .to the point that I am no longer reacting (negative emotions) when I hear about my exBPDbf and how he has moved on... .Shouldn't I be done with this?

Varies, but as a rule of thumb it normally takes between 50 and 100% the length of the relationship to be totally done.

Let it run its course. Everyone is different. This month I'm 15 months out. I think I've recently reached the freedom stage, as the loss no longer interferes with my sense of well being. I need to give that concept a few months before I'm convinced that I've reached that stage, though.
