Coming out of an abusive marriage

Hi,

I am struggling with the fear and heartbreak due to coming out of a marriage with someone with BPD & NPD.  We met a year ago, and he pushed me to commit to him within a month.  We married 5 months ago and then things started to unravel.  I filed for divorce this week. 

I wish I had heeded the red flags early in our relationship.

It's frustrating and stressful when things start off so wonderful and it becomes something that's terribly difficult. Please don't be hard on yourself. You have found many members here that can offer guidance and support.

You filed for divorce. Are there children? Are you living separately?
