I am in a relationship with a man who is suffering woth BPD and I want to leave I have been with him for a year now I have been mentally abused by him daily he calls me all sorts off names mainly sexual names like slag,b___, black b___, he states im sleeping around even with my client's who I support with mental health. He try to stop me from leaving him by making me feel quilty, he depends on me to do just about anything I am a mother of 4 children and I work full time and it's now becomimg very very stressful for me, he as claimed he will hurt himself if I go what can I do to get away before I become unstable xx

Sounds like you are in a rough space, feeling trapped.
Do you have any support around you that you can talk to?
Do you have any boundaries in place to deal with this kind of emotional abuse?
What are the physical barriers to moving away apart from his threats of self harm?

Living with someone with B.p.d is a very stressful thing to make it work alot of time and energy has to be put into it alot of boundaries have to be made. Alot of learning if this is u read the tools skills and such on here if not read them any way expecially the communication part. Also maybe do u see a counselor ? They could help... .u have to be strong ... .
