Hi guys,

It seems the past can catch up with you in many ways when you least expect it. From the above thread, that was my experience in July 2013 with my BPDex and the 'phantom pregnancy'.

After moving in with my fiancée in August this year I thought I'd get my clean start. Everything's going well. I live in the UK and for any UK folk registered with this forum, will be aware of the TV soap opera 'eastenders' and it's currently storyline of Tina and Tosh, where Tina becomes a victim of physical domestic violence. For me, I felt uncomfortable because it took me back to when I was with myBPDex - not as extreme but there was some physical elements that happened to me in the closing stage of our relationship.

Anyone else had a similar experience where a TV storyline made them think 'that's a bit familiar' and how did they manage to shut it out?

This movie came out about 9 months after we met.

Couple buddies have watched it out of boredom and immediately texted me afterwards being all DUDE I JUST WATCHED THE CRAZIEST MOVIE, IT WAS LIKE THE EXACT STORY OF HOW YOU AND [REDACTED] MET.

And it's like "t-thanks m-man I hadn't t-thought about her all d-day... ."
