How to not be frustrated & loose ourselves due to their disorder?

My uBPDbf's actions can be so infuriating, how do I learn to not react?

I don't know if this is relevant to your situation, but my therapist recommended "How full is your bucket?" www.amazon.com/How-Full-Is-Your-Bucket/dp/1595620036

It is a very simple book but it brings your attention to interactions with others and whether they're fulfilling or draining. Good luck in your search for resources.

I am currently reading, Get me out of here. My recovery from Borderline Personality Disorder.

I think its a good perspective from BPD side.

Has anyone read this? Is it ok to share with BPDgf/ex?

I read all of the time.  One simple, but helpful book for me is "Learning to Love Yourslef:  Finding Your Self Worth".  If you feel lost maybe it is because you have not been taking care, or loving yourself enough.  In the past, I put my r/s ahead of my own needs.  Not a good thing.

The other book that has been especially helpful is reviewed on this site.  "Stop Caretaking the Borderline or NPD in Your Life".

I don't know if you can learn not to react, but perhaps react in a way that does not invalidate.

Good luck.   if you read these books, post and tell if you found them helpful.  Good luck!
