I had a great weekend with my daughter, I was a little worried she would give me a hard time like she did 2 weeks ago and not want to come with me. I was very happy to hear her screech of happiness and start saying "daddy" when she saw me, she nearly leaped out of my exs arms to me.

Over the past week my daughter has turned the tables and is giving my ex a hard time going with her, when dropping my daughter off to my ex at daycare she goes to her and then wants to go back to me and wont go back to my ex. so now at the daycare I will give my daughter to my ex and just leave so its not harder for her.

I have never felt closer to my daughter then this weekend, we had such a great weekend. she looked so sad when I had to bring her home, Its probably my mind running away with me but she kept looking at me with such a sad face like she was saying " please don't leave me" :'( :'(

She didn't go to my ex like she normally does after a full weekend either, normally she is excited to see her but not so much today.

last week my daughter had a partial black eye ,I documented it in my journal and with photo. I asked my ex what happened and she said she fell and hit a door, my daughter was very irritated when I was taking a picture of her eye and seemed to be trying to hide it. with my exs anger problem I hope its the truth about hitting a door

That's great, Eco... .Good thing you documented. Your daughter is getting old enough to communicate more clearly now. We're not supposed to interrogate the kids what happens at the OP's home, but I don't think there's anything wrong with asking, "how's your eye feeling,.D? It must have hurt when the door hit you.?" She may volunteer information.

I had to rescue my Ex today due to S5 being sick. D3 said when I was leaving, "I want to go home with you Daddy!" Her mom said, "what, you don't want to go home with me?" Waif. I felt like saying, "the children aren't responsible for your feelings," but I didn't. It makes me feel good that our D loves me that much, but also a little sad.

Yes the guilt bombs are horrible.
