I have a child with BPD she is 20 and she likes

To devalue herself all the time and say really bad stuff about herself

I try to help her but just don't know what to do anymore. Any suggestion?

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

Hi frustrated,

It is so sad when our kids put themselves down like this.  They sometimes believe these things about themselves.

Have you tried validating her feelings so that she knows you are listening and understanding how she is feelings?
