Frustrated therapist, BPD sister
«

I am a therapist and have dealt with several clients who have mild-moderate BPD. After dealing with them, my sister's increasingly difficult and verbally abusive behavior finally started to make sense. Now the question is what do I and my parents do about her, and her two young daughters?
I look forward to sharing.

Hi TricycleFairy
I am sorry that you might be dealing with a BPD sister. Dealing with verbal abuse is very unpleasant, many of our members know from personal experience how difficult this is. Do your parents also acknowledge that there's something wrong with your sister's behavior?
Could you tell us a bit more about your sister's behaviors that now lead you to think she might have BPD? Did she always behave in a way that you would now classify as 'BPD-esque'?
How old are your sister's daughters and how does she treat them?
Take care and I hope you'll be able to share some more of your story

Hi
TricycleFairy
Welcome to the BPD family. Love the name by the way. Living with an undiagnosed BPD is tough. You don’t need to be a Therapist here, it’s your turn to talk it out. Would love to hear more about your situation.
