Just wanted to say   to you all as a new member here.

On the road to recovery!

I was in a ten year marriage to a partner that very likely suffers from high functioning BPD. I have found this site a huge help in understanding why our relationship was so chaotic and it has helped my journey of discovery and healing after it ended. I have benefited from listening to other members posts about their experiences, I find comfort in knowing I'm not alone and that others understand the emotional damage BPD inflicts. After reading posts I now know in time I can recover from the emotional rape I've experienced.

This site has been a real tonic for me! thank you  Smiling (click to insert in post)

Hi past-the-storm,

That's a good pick for a username  Being cool (click to insert in post)  I'm glad that you decided to join the discussion.

I see that you have a long history with a pwBPD. How long have you been out of the relationship? What happened that dissolved the marriage? Do you have kids together?
