I live with a man with ADHD and, I now think, BPD.  I realize that my responses have actually re-enforced his BPD.  I need to heal; I need compassion for the past; I need to develop better responses but also find ways to soothe myself when he has flair ups.  Thank you.

Welcome to the family.   We understand how difficult it is to be in relationship with someone with BPD. Please take a look at the right side of the page and read the lessons. There's a lot to learn here. Please tell us more about your story.

Welcome Suzanne,   I can relate to what you're saying.

The posters here can help you find new responses to the person you're living with.

Perhaps you can give us an example of something you're facing?
