my apologies ABt not being clear in prior post...

What I'm asking feedback on is, wondering if Ex is expecting me to call him since I broke things off, or perhaps Better to let it all just let it all go... ( being friends) . it has been a week, and no communication...

Could him not initiating contact, but always responding  be out of fear thinking I want to discuss the past, ( I do not) ... or maybe just doesn't give a hoot!

I know this is me needing some form of validation

Hi, Marshmellow. I think if he was expecting a call and didn't get one then once he talked with you he wouldn't be so nice. I would let it go. Don't force the communication if it isn't needed. If you're hurt by your breakup then look within and out to other support/validation resources(like here! ) rather than looking back into the old past relationship. Time away can be good sometimes.
