VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Hi. I never knew my ex to get nostalgic about the past. In fact, I knew very little of her past relationships, except that they existed and ended, but I never got details of how they ended. I assume now that she was probably dumped by all of them. She is now back with a guy she dated for a few months over 10 years ago after high school. It didn't work then, but I've been told she really thinks it will work now. Seems kind of fantasy like to me, childish almost. But, it keeps her away from me. Anyone experience their ex never being nostalgic about their past, but having just one single event or person that they seem to want to rewrite history about to feel that it was better than it was?

Maybe she never talked to you about them, but she does feel upset over them? Or maybe she leaves them in the past because it's too painful for her to recall them?  They often do try to reconnect with ex's

I don't think I will ever know the truth about her past, but she would slip up from time to time and I came to learn that she does check up on her exes on social media to see what they are up to, and at least one of them I know for sure she would have gone back to had he not remarried.  I guess BPDs are good for the environment as they loove to recycle   Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

Yup! My ex from my teen years found me on Facebook and told me she still loved me! What a crock of $hit! Within 2 weeks she started push/ pull , testing me . Then after 2 months she dumped me claiming ridiculous reason of why she ended it and put the whole blame on me. Even said I was chasing after her when it was her doing the chasing. I had no idea about BPD and it didn't sit well with me how a person can claim they love u and the next day dump you without a care in the world. Some of them do recycle and some don't.
