Claiming SSD benefits for a dependent child

Recently, I had to find out my BPDWex-wife's benefits to clarify an issue I had with getting my daughter's benefits straight.  My daughter's vision and dental benefits are through a union plan with my current job, and they require knowledge of the other parent's benefits at this time.  Through this, I found out that my BPD ex-wife has Medicare, and has had Medicare since during our marriage.

This leads to two separate issues.  The first is that during our mediated divorce, she claimed certain out of pocket expenses as a result of having to pay for therapy and psychiatric medicine.  Knowing that she had Medicare during the time of mediation means that she misrepresented her expenses during child support calculations, thus getting me to agree to a deviation I would not have done otherwise.  How do I go about challenging this, and is it worth my while?

The other issue is that since my ex-wife is under 65 and does not have end stage renal disease, she is somehow collecting social security disability benefits.  As I have primary custody of my child, I understand that my daughter (and therefore I) am legally entitled to dependent benefits.  How do I go about claiming these benefits?

You need to make an appointment with Social Security and submit a copy of your custody order and whatever other documentation they require. My uBPD is blind and our children get benefits.
