Help in semi crisis

My 22 year old has struggled with an eating disorder, addiction and then was said to possible be a borderline personality disorder person as a pre 18 year old. She seemed to go through a few year of recovery and was on an upward trend when her brother died at 23 followed by her long term boyfriend leaving. She definitely has regressed and according to my therapist that I see for grief and loss issues, is showing signs of BPD again. Lately she cant stop crying and has trouble just doing daily functioning. she has briefly seen a psychiatrist but is not connected with weekly help of a professional. i am at a loss of how to help her as everything I do or say makes her angry and/or sad.

Hi forlornmom,
Welcome to the Parenting Board, we are glad to have you here though sad for what brought you.
I'm so sorry for the loss you have all suffered. How long ago did your son pass away? Having a grief and loss counselor to help you deal with all of this is wonderful self care. Has you d ever participated in grief counseling?
The abandonment issues your d is experiencing can feel overwhelming for her. Is she taking meds for depression?
We do have some communication skills lessons that can help improve your relationship with your daughter. The Tools and Lessons --------> in the right side bar contain a great deal of information to help us understand the disorder, learn to take care of ourselves and support our kids/relationship with our kids.
How old is your d? Does she live with you at this time?
I look forward to hearing back from you and learning more so we can all support you.
