Staying positive and having fun
«

I just got home from seeing Cyndi Lauper tonight- it was really fun. It's fun to watch people. It's weird how you can spot the narcissists really quickly. I ushered the show, so I met a bunch of people. It's fun! Too bad my ex couldn't be here,
I'm having more fun than I did with him around that is for sure! Two more weeks until my divorce - I'm on the countdown- going to have fun and stay positive! Live life- that's the key to success- get out and enjoy!

good for you, my friend! keep it up! i am soo not there yet (5 months), but i am trying. my therapist yesterday said something interesting... . that we always say we had unconditional love for our significant other. well, in a relationship, it IS conditional! that we must have expectations on how we expect to be treated, and we have conditions under which we SHOULD be treated. if not, we have reason to move on... .anyway, he said it much better, but it made sense at the time
. love for our children is unconditional. love for our mate is conditional. it's true! hugs, londons

That sounds wonderful, Herodias. I need FUN in my life.
Londons, I agree with your therapist. My new motto is: Shape up or ship out! I guess it will be the latter for my BPDxbf, but I can almost handle that now. I'm on the home straits, anyway.

Like what you are saying, Herodias.
Life is so much more peaceful and fun without all the drama, isn't it?
I enjoy life without the daily expectation of a confrontation!

sounds like a great night
I have been following your threads - and it is great to see such positivity and true happiness.
Life does get better - soo much better. There is peace, calm, tranquility, laughter and happiness all which was lost due to the BPD ex's in our lives. So nice to read a truly uplifting post
