VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Well,

I need support to finish my relationship!
I do like the fellow but he leaves me for his kids.

He is on holiday... .one month... .his last words were that he wanted to feel one with me (in screwing me) this is when I told him that he is far too "melted" with his 16-year-old-daugter,
whom he is on holiday with. He says I am jealous, everyone is jealous in his eyes for the "good relationship" he has with is daughters.
This leaves me alone.
Thanks.

Hi zonnebloem

It's disappointing when we're on the receiving end of someone that doesn't seem to be able to manage his relationship with his partner and his children.

Fathers and mothers both have responsibilities to their spouses and their children. They do need to allocate the appropriate and healthy amount of time to each person. When we are subject to someone who can't seem to get this to where we desire it to be--then that's going to be frustrating.

It certainly won't make it easier when that partner generalises us into the jealous bucket instead of understanding where we're coming from. That might set me off if I received it.
