I've had two of them now tell me we were together in past lives. Is this a common thing? I've felt the soulmate vibe with people before but it seems like something both my diagnosed BPD ex said to me and my more current undiagnosed said to me within weeks of meeting me.

The second time around should have told me to run.

Had this happened to anyone else?

Well if that's the case, maybe you could have asked the first one if she met the second one. Then quizzed her on what the first one looked like.   Smiling (click to insert in post)

Can't say I've heard this one before, but if you set aside the New Age beliefs, it sounds like an attempt to force closer togetherness with you and prevent abandonment. After all, if you're eternal soulmates, then you certainly can't break up with her.
