Is it just me or are some days harder then other. I'm then talking about specific days. Like the day you first met your ex, the day she had birthday, some day you planned togheter?

I have been NC for 16 weeks now and doing great. I have meet new girl and also doing great there. She is so much diffrent then my ex. But the thing is that today is the day i meet my ex for first time and had 6-8 months long realationship.

Like i said i have been really good and there comes days i totally forget my ex see real progress and start to live my life. But! Today i feel little bit down and start to think about it all over again. I just need clap on my back.

My ex probably dont even reameber this day. Once the best day of her life when see meet her soulmate.

Yes, there are difficult days luckyclover.

To a similar tune as married21years, it might help you to know that your ex might remember this day. But the day may mean as much to your ex partner as a "met my soul mate" day with all her other partners.

Hang in there Luckyclover. You're doing great Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

The beauty of every day is its endless possibility. I love ending a bad day realising that tomorrow is a new one, fresh and unsullied by yesterday. All the possibility in the world.

These tough days will lessen. In the meantime can you be grateful for your experience with her, painful as it was? I can empathise with m21years. It wasn't all bad and I can find lots of things to be grateful for in my 15 years. Somehow if I look at it that way the pain is less.
